Public science stuff:

* 2009 Channel 4 /Discovery TV series 'Man on Earth'. Co-presenter alongside Tony Robinson and Jago Cooper. The series examines how changes in climate have affected humans throughout history and asks what we can learn as we face our own climate crisis today. I interviewed archaeologists at exciting locations around the world to see how climate change affected our behaviour, culture and technology.

Filming in Russia at Kostenki. The crew taking it all very seriously!

* 2008 BBC TV series 'The Incredible Human Journey' presented by Alice Roberts. Prof. Paul Valdes and I were series consultants and created climate simulations of the last glacial cycle for the program to link changes in climate and environment to the migrations of modern humans out of Africa and around the world. I created the climate, sea-level and vegetation animations used by the programmes.

* Bristol Festival of Nature 2008. Science-stall climate quiz and interactive discussions of climate change.

* Science Alive! 2008 Bristol public science weekend event co-organiser of the geographical sciences stand. Various interactive activities, including climate quiz, basal sliding of glaciers, flood defences, and geography of Bristol.
