bbc_long_06 Description

As bbc_long_04 and 05 (HadCM3BB) but with no changes to ice sheet or CO2. Hence changes to orbit only. Using the latest version with improvements to atmospheric convection and land surface which improves the simulation of the N. African monsoon system (and also the East Asian monsoon). The simulation is using HadCM3BB MOSES2.1aD for the last 800,000 years. This uses the latest setup of HadCM3BB (as of May 2022), including a number of small bug fixes etc. It is forced with changing greenhouse gases, ice sheet from DeBoer et al 2013, and corresponding ocean salinity. Each simulation is 500 years, initialised from the bbc_long_04 simulations. Simulations are every 4kyr from 800kyr to 24kyr, after which they are 1kyr BP intervals. Extensive output.
